Pigeonheart is a short turn-based grid strategy game for 2-4 players. Players are pigeons competing to build nests and incubate eggs on limited rooftop space. The game boasts randomly-generated spreads and cute pigeon artwork, and can be learned and played within fifteen minutes.

It can be hard to find quick, fun strategy games for two players – most are optimal with four players, take a long time to learn or take a lot of work to think through and master. I wanted to dip my toes into strategy game design by making something quick, easy to learn and fun, but also with a bit of depth for people who like that sort of thing. As odd as this sounds, Pigeonheart came to me fully formed in a dream – I themed it after pigeons because in my dream, a pigeon was my opponent.
I designed and programmed the game from scratch myself in P5.js. You can play it here.
