Over the summer of 2017, as a graduate student at the MIT Game Lab, I worked as an artist and editor for a game project/social behavior experiment developed in conjunction with a large technology company in Cambridge. I was tasked with drawing over a hundred distinct faces in a relatable and entertaining art style. Ultimately, I designed a number of recombinable assets (eyes, hairstyles, shirts, mouths, and so on) and skin and hair colors, and individually combined each face to maintain a sense of uniqueness for each character.
